Pasta is a staple of Italian cuisine, and it can be prepared in numerous ways. However, most people know only a couple of pasta recipes like pasta with red sauce or macaroni and cheese. Therefore, in today’s post, we have mentioned some of the most appealing and flavorful pasta recipes that are loved by everyone. Keep reading to learn more.

Base instructions for cooking the pasta:

Spaghetti Aglio E Olio:

This is a traditional Italian pasta dish that originated in Naples. It is a simple and quick recipe made from garlic and olive-oil based seasoning. Here is the detailed method for it

Ingredients:

  1. Half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
  2. Ten thinly sliced cloves of garlic
  3. A tablespoon of red chilli flakes
  4. A quarter cup of chopped parsley
  5. One pack of spaghetti

Procedure:

Add olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Throw in the thinly sliced garlic and cook until golden and fragrant. If the garlic is sliced thinly enough, it will become translucent and almost emulsify with oil. 

Toss the boiled pasta in the pan with olive oil and garlic and mix until it is completely coated. Add some pasta water if required. 

Throw some red chilli flakes, black pepper and parmesan over the pasta and serve. 

Pasta Arrabiata: 

this simple yet delicious pasta recipe is a favourite of many people. It is made in a tomato sauce base, and it is quite spicy. Here is a detailed recipe that you should check out. 

Ingredients:

  1. A quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil
  2. A couple of crushed garlic cloves
  3. A can of crushed tomatoes
  4. Two tablespoons of chilli flakes
  5. A quarter cup of chopped parsley

Procedure:

Add the oil to a skillet over medium-high heat and stir the garlic until it is fragrant. Throw in the tomatoes and chilli flakes and let them simmer over medium heat for about five minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the base instructions.

Toss the pasta in the sauce and mix until it is completely coated. 

Garnish with some chopped parsley and grated parmesan. 

Spaghetti con Acciughe:

Spaghetti con Acciughe is a delicious and amazing Italian pasta recipe, that is served with anchovies. Here is a quick recipe for this authentic Italian recipe

Ingredients:

  1. One-third of a cup of extra virgin olive oil
  2. A couple of crushed garlic cloves 
  3. A couple of tablespoons of finely chopped anchovies 
  4. A tablespoon of red chilli flakes
  5. A quarter cup of chopped parsley

Procedure:

Start by placing a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Throw in the anchovies and stir until they are thoroughly cooked and emulsified into the olive oil. 

Add the boiled pasta to skillet and toss it around until it is thoroughly coated. Add some pasta water to balance out the intensity of the anchovies.

Garnish with some parsley, chilli flakes and grated parmesan before serving. 

Spaghetti All’Amatriciana:

This pasta recipe is one of the best in this list. It uses guanciale, which is cured pork meat and unique pecorino cheese from Amatrice. If you can’t find guanciale, you can also make this recipe with bacon. Here are the detailed ingredients and the procedure for this recipe 

Ingredients:

  1. A couple of tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  2. A couple of crushed garlic cloves
  3. Half a brown onion, thinly diced
  4. A can of crushed tomatoes
  5. Half a tablespoon of red chilli flakes
  6. thinly sliced guanciale or bacon
  7. Pecorino cheese
  8. Parmesan cheese

Procedure:

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and garlic along with the onions and guanciale. Cook until the onions are translucent and soft and the guanciale is golden-brown

pour in the canned tomatoes along with some chilli flakes, salt and pepper according to your preferred taste. Use the pasta water in the sauce if required.

Once the sauce is complete, add the pre-cooked pasta and toss it around. Season with some grated parmesan and pecorino. Your mouth-watering pasta recipe is ready.  

Spaghetti Carbonara:

This fantastic pasta recipe is an Italian favourite. It is easy to make, and if you follow the ingredients and procedure mentioned below, you will be able to make it perfect every time. 

Ingredients:

  1. A hundred grams of finely chopped pancetta
  2. Fifty grams of grated pecorino and parmesan cheese
  3. Three large eggs
  4. A couple of crushed garlic cloves
  5. unsalted butter
  6. Salt and pepper for seasoning

Procedure:

Mix the parmesan and pecorino in a bowl with the beaten eggs. Add some salt and pepper for seasoning.

In a skillet, add the butter along with the garlic and pancetta and fry until golden brown and crisp.

Add the pre-cooked pasta to skillet and toss until coated. 

As soon as you take the skillet off the stove, add the eggs and cheese mixture. The residual heat from the pasta will melt the cheese and temper the eggs. 

Garnish the pasta with some parmesan and serve while hot. 

Four cheese pasta:

As the name suggests, this is a pasta recipe for cheese lovers. It uses four different types of cheese. Here is the detailed method.  

Ingredients:

  1. Penne, macaroni or any other types of pasta according to your choice
  2. A cup of whole milk
  3. Gorgonzola Dolce, fontina, parmesan and pecorino cheese
  4. Salt and black pepper for seasoning

Procedure:

Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the Gorgonzola and Fontina cheese while continually stirring until the mixture is homogeneous. Season with grated nutmeg and white pepper.

Add some olive oil or butter to a skillet and add the pre-cooked pasta. Pour in the sauce and stir to combine.

Add the parmesan and pecorino cheese and cook until the sauce is thick and creamy. 

Serve the pasta with some chicken, or any other preferred way. 

Penne Ala Vodka:

When it comes to pasta recipes, Penne Ala Vodka is a crowd favourite. It is usually made with penne pasta, and it also has vodka in it. Here is the detailed recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. One can Italian plum tomatoes
  2. Penne pasta
  3. A quarter cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  4. Ten peeled cloves garlic
  5. Crushed hot red pepper
  6. A quarter cup of cup vodka
  7. Half a cup of heavy cream
  8. Unsalted butter
  9. Chopped fresh parsley
  10. Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

Procedure:

Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet and add the crushed garlic. Stir until the garlic is golden and fragrant. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, add the vodka and season with salt and pepper. Bring the sauce to a boil let it simmer

Before adding the pasta to the sauce, pour in the heavy cream and mix to incorporate. 

Add the pre-cooked penne pasta to the sauce and toss until completely coated. 

Remover the pasta, and sprinkle parmesan cheese over it. Serve while hot. 

Spaghetti Bolognese:

Bolognese is a meat-based sauce that is a staple of Italian cuisine. Originating in the city of Bologna, this sauce is perfect for any type of pasta. Here is a detailed recipe for spaghetti Bolognese.

Ingredients:

  1. Olive oil
  2. Beef mince
  3. One diced onion, and a couple of crushed garlic cloves
  4. A can of chopped tomatoes
  5. Beef stock
  6. Salt and pepper for seasoning

Heat some oil in a large saucepan, add the minced beef and season with salt and pepper.

Cook the beef until browned and set aside.

To the same saucepan, add some oil with garlic and onions and stir until translucent. 

Add the beef, and tomatoes back to the saucepan, bring to a gentle simmer and let it sit for forty-five minutes
